I take my wedding band off for golf because the "strong" grip on a club is the left hand if you are right handed and my ring inhibits it. If he hits the ball left handed this isn't an issue. There is a comfort factor to it and if you wear a glove it doesn't fit quite as well either. I do put it back on as soon as I finish LOL

No! A wedding band is generally well fitting with no raised parts that can catch. If He does have an ornate wedding ring, then golf gloves are an ideal solution.
To be honest love, I would be quite suspicious if my husband started making excuses for not wearing his wedding ring on social occasions.

Yes. unless he had gained tons of weight and cant get it off. But it will affect your grip on the club and the way the golf glove fits. Golf is hard enough or challenging enough the way it is. If you are jealous. Learn how to play well enough to not be a hindrance and go with him. Its a game of a lifetime.

Yes when you play hand position is the most important part of the game. With a ring on it does not give as much contact to the grip and let you release your hands during inpact. I take of rings and watches while playing. If he is a man of god he would not consider doing anything that would violate the bond you and him have under the eyes of God.

I take my ring off playing golf, sometimes when I wear a glove it causes issues, also gives better grip of the club without the ring on.
Just make sure it finds its way back to his finger after the 18th hole.

Because of allergies, my wife and I have problems from wearing jewelry. We have been married for over 22 years and neither of us has any intention of cheating. Men's wedding bands have only been around since WWII. If he thinks it improves his golf game, then let him. On the other hand if you cause unnecessary stress in his life, he could be more likely to go elsewhere for affection.

What if he takes his ring off? Are you jealous? Let the man play without the ring. As long as he's playing golf and not playing around.

Yes, he should. I take off all rings, bracelets, and my watch. These items are irritating while golfing. I'm sure there aren't any hotties on the course for him to flirt with if that's what you are thinking.

Unless they have strippers on the golf course he can take it off but make him wear it on a chain, that'll make him want to put it on his finger instead. I've seen male doctors at work put theirs on a chain around their neck because of all the blood they work with and other chemicals.

See if you can make arrangements to get an ankle bracelet put on him. That way it won't interfere with his grip. It would be handy, since you also have the added benefit of monitoring him from your computer!
