After a firedrill we had, I was standing agianst the lockers waiting for a friend. Then here come this boy comin back into the school and he asked me "Hey, whats ur name?" i told him my name. But he was listening to his Ipod. So he coludnt really hear and he took one of his earphones out. And said "Wait say that again?" then i told him my name. And he smiled really hard while and after he asked. So What does this mean??? im kinda clueless!

Do you like him? If not dont try to read too too much into it, b/c i think if he were that interested he would have took out his earphones before so you would not have to repeat yourself. However if you are interested in him, try starting a conversation with him and see where it goes from there. good luck!

IM sorry to say >_< ive been in many situations like that before, and it turns out its always some sort of rumor... like he could be smileying (laughing) cuz he heard/saw you picking your nose in calss or something. (these rumors are never true but we have to deal with them anyway)
my friends have these problems too. i dont think he's actually interested in you.... im not tryting to burst your bubble tho!!

It means he is damn rude. Whether he likes you are not, one does not ask a question then tune you out with his ipod. If he wanted to talk he should have given you his undivided attention. The question is.. Do you like him? I sense that you like him. He is still rude.

he probably likes you and want to be friends than ask you on a date. or he thinks you would be cool to hang out with you. he could be making small talk to become your friend.
