Instead of fishers of fish, He was going to show them how to soul win. Win souls for the Lord.

Many of Jesus' apostle's were fishermen. They caught fish for a living. Jesus said that he would make them into 'fishers of men', meaning that they would be searching for a much more important goal, that of bringing men to an understanding of 'the Truth, and the Way, and the Life.'

HE was talking to a bunch of fishermen. they were people that made their living by casting their nets into the sea and gathering fish to then trade and sell for other items, thereby sustaining their lives and livlihood. they knew full well the concept of fishing - trying to get as many fish as possible and using them for the greater good. they also knew that sometimes, you would be set on stormy seas and be tossed and tormented and buffetted by the ill winds.
Christ, IMHO, used this analogy to show them what their paths would now be - to gather the people together using God's word and Christs love as their nets, to get them to the greater good. That their livlihood would now be changing the spiritual lives of the people and feeding them the Word of GOd. By using this pharse He also let them know -- just like fishing - it's not gonna always be smooth sailing.

Why is everything about brain washing no one in the U.S. is forced to go to church. Brain washing is done over a period of time and it isnt going to happen when you go to church on easter and chrsimas because anybody that beleives this propaganda isnt going on a regular basis. Another thing about brain washing is repitition like repeatedly bringing up being brain washed. It wont work If anybody is brain washed its the people who beleive we are brain washed.

if you're a Muslim then you should check in Kuran, because Byble and Kuran are the same books but only with different explanations. The point is the same.
