The word Trinity does not exist in any version of the Bible. It's a man-made attempt at a word that explains the ideology behind three gods in one being so that people can understand it.

Read 1 John 5:7 in King James Version of the Bible. There is no god but Jehovah God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit and these three are one.

I don't know what you mean, but I could never comprehend belief in a triune god. Many many many pagans have had and still do have belief in a triune god.

REMEMBER : Jesus was sent to the Jews, NOT to the pagans !!!!
The Jews believed in THE ONE TRUE GOD !!! Jesus believed in THE ONE TRUE GOD, because he was the Firstborn of all creation. God made Jesus directly, then Jesus helped his Father make everything else !!! Jesus NEVER said he was EQUAL to God !!! Jesus is the Son of God.

The trinity is a LIE !!! The roots of the trinity are in every pagan religion from Hindu, to shamanic Nordic, and Egyptian, and EVERY paganistic triune godhead clear back to Babylon !!!
The UNholy trinity doctrine was adopted by the catholic church hundreds of years after the last apostle John died, and the wolves in sheep's clothing began their systematic apostatizing from the Truth the Way and the Life.

There are many man-made interpretations of our Holy Writings.
The concept of the Trinity, that God is three beings in ONE. Comes from the verse about the Godhead. The Father, Son,
and Holy Spirit, which AGREE in ONE.

Ahh the Revisionist. The Holy Trinity still exists hun, no matter what the new version says. Its all a matter of faith, what you believe how you feel about your own religious internal self hun. If I suddenly decided to write a version of the Bible that states that the color green no longer exists would you believe me???? Of course not because you believe the color green exists. Search out what you believe and hang on to it sweetie ok.

I doubt that all references, especially the oblique ones CAN be removed without totally bowdlerizing the entire Book.

As for "wrecker" and the assertion that Jesus never claimed equality with God the Father, try THIS: He who has seen me has seen the Father. Helloh! That's about as flatfooted a claim to equality as you're ever gonna find!

Jesus made numerous references to the Father, Himself and the Holy Spirit as ONE BEING in their divine nature. Get your noses outta the Old Testament and read the New. The OT merely hints at this Mystery. The New proclaims it and explores both the relationship and its impact on us and our future.

no, its not missing in the revised version
all the bible stories , characters, and doctrines are intact, i assure you
...as silly as they may be O_o

btw... you do realise, i hope, the trinity didnt become official church doctrine until the 4th century...

the answerer below me ... she said jesus mentioned the father the son and the holy ghost .. well ... in the earliest texts, in at least one instance, "the holy ghost" was not part of that sentence ... jesus said "the father and the son" end of sentence. in later texts, we find someone added "....and the holy ghost" if you are a christian, youre probably not going to believe that ....but you can verify fairly easy that i am not in error about that. (start with footnotes of the NIV bible also, vatican documents/articles mentions this.)
