As far as I can understand, Irish people actually developed their type of PRONUNCIATION of "English" words. So, it would not be wrong, if you just "communicate in English". I think, you should know - what is the Internet thing all about. It is not about the language, it is about being able to feel, what you should or should not do. Language is only a part of communication process and it can be learned on the level of intuition. So, I think, you can speak Irish very well!

Are you of school going age?
Write to: Pobailscoil Gaoth Dobhar, Derrybeg, Co Donegal, Ireland. Their secretary, Sile Mc Gee is a very helpful, lovely lady and I'm quite sure she will put you in touch with somebody to write to. It would be easier for her, if you stated your interests, age and knowledge of Irish, but everybody knows English as well.
Good luck!
