You should come to Australia!! We love tourists and am always happy to pass on any tips about Aussie slang etc.

If not that, perhaps spend some time watching some Aussie movies (not Australians in American movies - they lose their accent). Crocodile Dundee (we Aussies do cringe watching that, Strictly Ballroom, Babe etc. If there are any Aussie soapies in your country, this would also help (look out for Alf Stewart in 'Home and Away")

Another option, is to start using some Aussie words (it will not be an Aussie accent but might start to sound a bit Aussie).

A few ideas:
G'day, Crikey, True Blue, Mate etc

Good luck mate!

Watch too many episodes of dire Aussie soaps and The Crocodile Hunter Diaries.

Also, Crocodile Dundee and CD II provide more than enough practice of speaking with an Aussie accent to drive the most sober man to drink.

Australia is not quite ready for you yet, unless of course you own a budgie and believe in aliens in which case, have the aliens send your budgie to Australia, let him learn the accent and then he can teach it to you See it is simple but it will take some time.

The best way is to be born and raised there. The next best thing is to fake it.
