I am... I wrote my thesis on her! For me the key is her diary... yes her life is fascinating- she made sure it was but its more how she expresses herself through drawings, the stream of consciousness, the drawings developed from ink splots. If you haven't seen the diary take a look. It really is amazing!

Her paintings are a reflection of her life - - - a canvas of her emotions her vibrancy her being - -- - I find her life to be fascinating and I am always fascinated by her art - -- art which needs to be more visible to The World. Her life story if told well would be so much more fun to watch as an on going series on TV than another contrived crime & cops procedural. Wouldn't Salma Hayek be great reprising her 2002 Movie role, delving deeper into the life of Frida?

First of all, I love her work, secondly, it's not that often that a woman artist can become so famous internationally.
I used to enjoy her paintings and read a bit of her biography. When the movie 'Frida'came out , it was interesting to see her life in glorious technicolour. I think that the movie inspired a lot of people to actually look at her work and her life. Perhaps there should be more movies made about artists, I know there are some - but more would be useful for the likes of us.
