Well i'm f***** lost i currently have a built in video card that's a ATI Radeon 9000 on my laptop Pavilion zv5000 and the current driver version is 6.14.10.6436 which was released way back in 2004. I've gone to the ait official website to look for an updated driver and found several kinds. I just need to know what driver i need to pick so that i can update my video card driver. They make it so complicated and all i need is a simple instruction like: windows XP home ed. on a HP Pavilion zv5000 notebook with video card ATI Mobility Radeon 9000/9100 chose this driver..... (which I don't know). I'm trying to be real specific so that someone can picture my situation I don't know if the laptop model matters or the type of laptop, just need to know how and which driver to pick to download from their site. I hope someone has an idea of wat i'm saying and if u can post the exact website so that i can just click on the link to update that would be great. And thanks in advance if u do.

IF you have precisely the zv5000, it looks as though the driver was updated in 2005.
Now version 8.003.3 C

Sound driver has not been updated since 2004.

I don't have an answer, but I sympathise I have a HP Pavilion dv5000 & am just as confused as you
