Let's cut to the chase. We know from history and archeology that Jesus was a real man who lived in the days of the Pax Romana of the Roman period. No one can deny that, unless they are being obtuse. Now this man Jesus made some very bold, controversial statements that we either believe or disbelieve. It is just that simple. Do we believe what he said or do we disbelieve what he said. Those are the only two alternatives. There is no in-between. You either believe his words or you don't. Now an intellectually honest person is going to at least read those controversial words before making a decision. So many fools make their decision without reading those words, justifying it by saying those words are myths, but they won't read those words. They act as if they are going to die if they read those words. They even get psychotic about it.
