It is obvious that the person giving the punishment has never been violated. They have never been a victim of someone else's lust and violence. Unfortunately, we can't make these people understand this. Fair punishment should be based upon the severity of the rape. Then, once determined, the @ss should be taken to the desert, shot in the b@lls and left for the buzzards. I guess I would never make it as a judge, but I would certainly give a few jerks something to think about before they decided they were going to violate someone. The only comforting thought in this whole matter is that these jerks have to meet their maker one day. That's when the proper punishment is served.

Rape is a serious crime and I to get upset when I see the rapist getting light sentences. I don't think the justice system understands what rape does to a woman's mind. Her body will heal and quickly but her mind is going to suffer for a long time. Rape is a crime of hatred and control not a crime of lust. So what do I think would be fair, If the victim is under 15, a child, the rapist should be given life in prison without the benefit of parole. Because that is what he has sentenced that young girl to she will always remember what was done to her and it will affect her whole life. If the girl is over 15 but under 60 , Life in prison no parole until he has served at least 50 years. Lastly for the victims over 60 the death penalty. You are probabily wondering why the variables.because women who are adults will be able to find the consuling necessary to regain their lives and while remembering what happened to them they will be able to relegate it to the back of their minds. For older women it will become the focal point of their lives many will commit suicide because these women were raised in an era when if you were raped you asked for it. Their lives will be ruined. That is why the death penalty for those men.
For the guy who said girls cry rape when they were not raped this happens and is wrong, wrong, wrong. But the question wasn't about the falsely accused.
For the guy who confessed to raping many women I'm glad you turned your life around but you deserve to be punished. The young women you raped still see you around every corner and live in fear that you will come back. Why because you were not caught. But you must face the supreme being one day and your punishment will begin then.

lets take it easy here, bw the ages of 16-19 me and my friends raped a couple of girls, not once or twice, we raped our gf's and at times complete strangers, not until a friend of ours was arrested and cautioned by the cops, the case never got to court, . Now i am 31, happily married with 3 kids and very successful in biz, when i look at those yrs and the crimes we commited, i feel very sad and realise it was juvenile deliquency, right now i find it hard to even argue with a woman cos i have so much respect for them... anyway i am glad i wasn't incarcerated or killed as some suggest in here and i still think the law shud be flexible and recognise that some of these ppl can still turn out right as i did..
most of the girls we raped are still friends with us now and they sincerely trust us cos they understand that back then we were all growing up, as for facing my purnishment when i meet the supreme being, i am now a born again and my sins have been forgiving

We live in the age of technology. So, why dint the government make a video simulation of how it would be if a woman that the rapist loved was being raped.(his mother, sister, daughter.) And make him watch it repeatedly over his jail sentence. It may not be one hundred percent effective, but I bet most would think twice before the did it again.

They should have like in Saudi. Cut his thing out.
That is fair because it will deter any man from raping and if applied in US, I guarantee that there won't be a single rape.
But the fact that it doesn't work in Saudi is because according to the laws of the country, there has to be four male witnesses. I mean noone will rape in front of four other men. Thats why its not working in Saudi

Take their genitals and put it in a vice grip. Make sure it is tight so he cannot get out. Remove the handle of the vice grip. Now give him the bluntest possible knife you can find. Set a fire all around him making sure that it will spread towards him. He has a choice(The girls did'nt). Cut it off with the blunt knife or burn to death.

Life imprisonment or death. The UK is far too tolerant of these beasts, hence why there are no many of them offending, re-offending and re-offending again! In countries where they have the dealth penalty, there are very little rapes occurring...so the logic is there, it's a case of waiting for our soft and stupid government to realise it.

YOu know what they should do with people that rape children they should have to stay in prison so they cant do it to other children. While in prison, they should get big bubba after the men to rape them and see how it feels!!
