If I sleep on my right or left side, I get excrutiating pain in my shoulders, regardless how I position my arms. I can only sleep on my stomach with my arms along side my body. If my knee's touch they too experience excrutiating pain. I am in good health otherwise, not under-or overweight, I am a male 38 years old. It sucks that I can't lie on my side, not even while watching TV on the couch. Anybody?

Seems as though it would be of interest to find out what is causing the problem. then have it treated appropriately. How long has it been there, any contributing factors? You don't give much for anyone to go on but, with that much stress to an area, one would have to concur there is an inflammatory condition present. If a stressed area is left for any period, the body will attempt to defend itself by creating crystallizing of the area.. eventually will freeze the area, to stop the stress. Is that enough emphasis to find out what is going on with your body?

Would suggest you include a chiropractor in your long list of doctors to see. May even want to start there. He/she will know if you need adddional attention.
