I would try very quickly to organise the other adult to help with either the old man or the child, whichever of those two is in least difficulty. Then I would try to help the one in most difficulty of the old man and the child. Finally, hopefully with the help of the other adult, I would be able to keep everyone calm, and if not right the capsized boat, hold onto its hull and wait for rescue.
But that is presuming that no one of those three is capable. People of all ages can be capable swimmers ... and it may be the old man would be the best person to come to my assistance with the other two, and so on.

1. Depends upon who can and can't swim. However, being faced with that once before I can tell you, I saved the child first as he could not swim, then I helped the old man, then the adult as I went in my head as to who could hold out for how long. It worked for me at that time, however they did have a boat to hang on to, and man was I tired from swimming. Its been 4 years, and I've not went back in the water since ;-)

I would save the child first because their life is just beginning. Then I would save the old man because he's helpless. The adult could fend for his/herself, unless that adult were my husband, then he would be first.

I would save them all, since the boats upside down and its floating, they all can hold on while the waterproof radio is used to call for help. I've been in this situation- as long as help comes soon, hyperthermia will kill us all given time. Child needs the life jacket, the old man needs to hold to the adult, and we all need to huddle together- just like in SEAL training- to keep the water as warm as possible until help arrives

I'd save the child, and have the adult save the old person if required.

As a lady I detest those stupid "teach to me how major i'm to you" questions that insecure women individuals use to frustrate adult males to no end. women those who pose those neurotic questions wind up residing on my own in an position of living complete of cats. and that i will heavily question the sanity of any guy who might want to even evaluate procreating with,no longer to teach marrying, this kind of self absorbed shrews. adult males, truly, masturbate earlier you even imagine about having sex with a lady who might want to ask those type of questions. teach some self recognize, for God's sake.
