Okay, now only my tech teacher got it right away. Everyone else...dumbfounded.

Three men are stranded on an island. All the same age, single, same religion, and each do not have any family to go back to. But they have different philoshiphies (forgive me if I misspelled it).

One day they run out of food, so they decide one of them has to die for the other two to eat. They quickly decide who will be eaten, even the one chosen thought it was a good ideal...why?

For one, he wasn't gay. For two, he didn't have any disease, they were all in the same health. And you shouldnt eat someone with a disease because thats not good. And plus he wasnt fat they were all the same weight. And plus he didn't believe in the afterlife.

Theory one
Two of the men are policemen and the third was a criminal sentenced to die. The date of the execution had already passed so the condemned man had lived longer than expected anyway so being in a state of repentance agreed to die for the sake of saving the others.

Theory two

The chosen man is facing out to sea and, unbeknown to the others sees a rescue ship coming for them. Naturally to appear noble he agrees that he should be the one to be eaten but knows that he won't be because rescue is at hand.

Its better to get killed than to die of hunger. Soon one will be left to die of hunger. So, he was ready to die first because both of the two left persons would be ready to die second and this may lead to a conflict or whatever because they would have realised by then that the last person will have to starve and struggle before his death.
