Yes, Quran has mentioned many scientific facts...even how the world came into existence and how it will end. It's just that the signs were given to people when science was beyond their wildest imagination. Now that people are educated and they look back to the verses, they become speechless that yes, there is a God who made this all and knew about it since forever.

Actually all the so called science discoveries have been thoroughly debunked as nonsense or shown why it was easy to find it out...

I believe the chinese and other civilisations already knew about the so called discoveries long before mohammed did, and much much more. Plus they were also in knowledge already in his own region, thats how he knew about it, duh!
