LITE CREAMY THOUSAND ISLAND DRESSING
2/3 c. cottage cheese
Sweetener to taste
1 tbsp. paprika
2 tbsp. pickle juice
1 tsp. onion salt
1 c. tomato juice
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/4 med. dill pickle (minced fine)
1 tsp. dry mustard
Place all ingredients, except pickle, in blender. Blend until smooth, stir in pickle.

This recipe is very good:
Thousand Island dressing made with mayonnaise, chili sauce, olives, bell pepper, and onion.
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup chili sauce or ketchup
2 tablespoons chopped pimiento-stuffed olives
2 tablespoons finely chopped green bell pepper
1 tablespoon chopped onion
1 teaspoon minced pimiento
PREPARATION:
Blend all ingredients well and refrigerate. Makes 2 cups of Thousand Island salad dressing.
