Isn't it better just to leave it the way it is? Is it really that hard to clean it every day?

Foreskins vary from person to person. Some men have incredibly tight foreskins that need to be clipped for comfort and hygiene. Actually Evangelical Christians have terrorized millions into believing that if they spend too much washing their penis they are in fact playing with it and therefore will go directly to H e l l therefore many men give their penis a perfunctory shake and stuff it back behind layers of cloth where it cannot commit evil.

Men with excessive foreskin do find washing to be a chore. The more wrinkles, the more folds of skin, the more opportunities for sweat & urine to collect and ferment. That said a moderate circumsion is best.

Peace....

Circumcision is a cultural decision in the US. Some people do it for religious reasons. It's also easier to keep a circumcised penis clean, although uncircumcised boys can learn how to clean beneath the foreskin once the foreskin becomes retractable (usually some time before age 5). However, some uncircumcised boys can end up with infected foreskins as the result of poor hygiene.
Circumcision really isn't necessary, and unless the boy has a foreskin that is too tight, it's easy to clean. It seems like a pretty cruel thing to do to a baby.

"The Jews were not any good at art, so they tgave foreskins as tribute to their deity."

Where on earth did you hear something this insane??? It has nothign to do with art....

History:
"And G-d spoke to Abraham saying: ...This is my covenant which you shall keep between Me and you and thy seed after you -every male child among you shall be circumcised." (Gen. 17:12)

Since the time of Abraham, Jews have observed the ritual of circumcision as the fundamental sign of the covenant between G-d and Israel. "The Covenant of Circumcision" is known as Brit (or Bris) Milah in Hebrew. For Jews, this is more than merely a medical procedure. The circumcision is a sign of the child's entry into Judaism.

For 3500 years, this has been the tradition. In every country where Jews resided, they have practiced this ritual, sometimes at great personal risk and sacrifice.

Some research has shown that circumcision leads to less infecions and lower risk of prostate cancer, but this research has recently been questioned. Anyway, most people want to have their kids be in the majority - and since most people are circumcised, they circumcise their kids.

Circumcision, or removal of foreskin of penis - every1 doesnt go for it- only people with problems with the fore skin and those belonging to the semetic religions- Jews, muslims, some native americans...

If you have noted, circumcision as a tradition/rule developed in religions born in places of water scarcity- Judaism, Islam...
There wasnt enough water to drink, leave alone bathe or clean penises after urine/ sex. In order to maintain penile hygeine, it was imperative to circumcise.

Some religions eg Islam (at least certain sects of it) also rule that a man should dry his penis with a pc of clay/brick after urinating.

actually, it has been scienticically proven that a circumsiced penis is a healthier penis. yes easier to clean, less bacteria build up, and most importantly, the extra pleasure you will recieve from sexual activity, from masturbation, intercourse, or oral sex. it it normally done at an infants age and no pain is remembered, except whena young man reaches puberty in the Jewish faith, then it is a ritual, some south american indian circumcise the young men at puberty ages also to prclaim them men of their villages or tribal communities.

Nowdays, the trend is to not cut the foreskin off of a newborn.
It can be cleaned easily but I don't think you would have to clean it everyday unless you are very active sexually, then you may want to, it is entirely up to you. But I think once a week would be enough.

Circumcision is the human equivalent of having various breeds of dogs get their tails docked, imo. It is simply a tradition based on Jewish primitive religious rituals.

The Jews were not any good at art, so they tgave foreskins as tribute to their deity.

All other 'reasons' for circumcision are just nonsense cooked up as support for this barbaric practice.
