it would seem that people who prefer volvo are interested in quality and name brand. everyone knows the name "volvo".
they are expensive but owners keep them an average of 10 yrs i think. their style isnt very pleasing (to me anyway lol) but they are swedish made with good quality. i would have to say that "upscale" people purchase them because they are expensive.

I like Volvos..i once saw one that was fully loaded...i think it was an S40...V5...pretty sweet inside
