In my opinion, no it is not appropriate. I tend to think that if an older man especially, a guy who is in his early 30's, is dating a way younger person, they have issues. What is wrong with him? Does he have intimacy issues? Why can't he find someone his own age? Two of my friends have dated older men and both situations turned out to be bad. I am also 21 and I probably wouldn't date anyone older than 26.

If the two of you are happy and comfortable dating one another than the only advice I have for you is f**k the world and what it has to say. Remember only God can judge you and last that I checked there's nothing in the Bible that says you can't be with an older man.

A lot of people look down on it, but i don't think that should stop you from trying. Age doesn't matter with matters of the heart, Love is elusive Its a hell of a journey to chase it. Weather people think its wrong or not shouldn't matter, because how this person makes you feel overwrites everything! Go for it, trust your heart and don't ever look back, Ive spoken my piece, Good luck!

Nope! I married my best friend when he was 33 and I was almost 23. Just about an 11 year difference. Love has no boundaries, especially age. We have been together now for 4 years and are just as happy now as when we just met!

Miss, I think it doesnt matter WHO you fall in love with (now if he was 10 years younger I would say otherwise) the heart is a thing that we have No control over, What we feel in our heart is not always what we think in our mind Go for it because you will regret it if you don't take the chance....your friend Blue

My aunt married someone who is 10 years older than her and they've never been happier. They have 2 beautiful children and they're still going strong. I'd say go for it. You can't help who you fall in love with.

Yes.
Age compatibility is important but not essential. Dating someone slightly older that you is desirable, since girls mature quicker than boys around your age.

Who cares what it looks like to others? Are you living your life to find happiness for yourself or to gain the approval of strangers?
