....sides aren't changing. I do lots of tummy crunches and it's helping my belly slim down and I can really feel and see the difference. But my sides still hang over my pants, it looks like I have these "saddle bags" or a TIRE, and I haven't notice ANY change in my sides so what can I do to get rid of the sides excess fat and flab ???? Or, what am I doing wrong or lacking to help slim the sides of my tummy/waiste area???

From what I know, specific exercise does work short-term, but it'll be more effective long-term if you do other exercises. Activities you enjoy, maybe swimming? You don't feel the stickiness of jogging. Jogging if you love the feeling of sweating. Alternate between exercises too.

Then again, your have a baby at home, so you probably intend to do exercises at home.

Side crunches help:
Lie flat on your back on the floor, have your knees bent and legs pointed to one side. Your lower body should be pointing to the side but your upper body should remain straight and flat on the floor. Have your hands by the sides of your head and your elbows back. Crunch up slightly pushing your lower back into the floor, raising your head and shoulders, squeezing the side of your waist. Lower your head and shoulders back down to the floor. Repeat the exercise until you have finished your reps. Then change to the other side.

http://www.nowloss.com/ is a good site which shows you how to lose weight. It's really effective, but you need motivation. You should have it since you've say your tummy has shown results!

http://www.virtualfitnesstrainer.com/ is good, but I advise you to not sign up for the mailing list. It SEEMED to make me have an increase in spam mail.

BEST OF LUCK!!! =)
