Honey, you'll be fine. Some people say forgive and forget but I think that's foolish. Forgiveness is yours to give if you think it's due, if whatever went wrong is in your past, and if you want to, you can forgive him. You don't have to and nobody should make you feel like you must, it's entirely your own choice.
One thing I will say, is please, never forget. Remember what happened, keep doing the things you're enjoying now - spend time with your friends. If you were anything like me, you probably didn't spend as much time with them as you did with him.
Live your life a little more, find out what makes you happy again. What do you want to do with your life? You're free to take it down a whole new direction, wherever you want to go.
Just don't forget what happened. Learn from it. If you don't remember it and don't learn from it, you'll find you're open to getting trapped in the same unhappy position you were in before.
There was something wrong and you took the steps you felt were right. Sounds to me like you're a lot happier for it.
There's no deception in being happy, finding other things to make you smile - that's what you're doing, right?
If you feel like you need confirmation that it's alright to be happy without your ex, then maybe you've still got a little bit of healing left to do. These things take time and it just so happens time is a wonderful healer.
Please, take care of yourself. Enjoy your life and remember what's happened has made you a stronger person. You can make up your own path from here.
Best wishes as always,
froggie

no, you're not. You're prepping for the rest of your life, instead of just sitting in the corner moping. It will take a while to feel fine again, but you're going in the right direction.
you're not decieving yourself, but it will take time.

Nope, you're gonna be better and better each and every day and the day after as well. Forget the pain, just learn from it.
