ALRIGHT, I NEED SOME ADVICE ASAP.. I LIKE AN HOUR AND A HALF.. ALRIGHT.. I WAS RAISED BY A MAN, WHO DIDN'T REALLY ACKNOWLEDGE ME AS HIS DAUGHTER AND IT IS NOW OBVIOUS IN HIS DEATH.. HIS BIO DAUGHTER, MY SISTER AND MY MOM, ARE GOING TO OHIO TO TAKE CARE OF SOME THINGS, AND HIS FAMILY WHO ALSO DIDN'T GO ABOVE AND BEYOND TO ACCEPT ME, ARE GOING TO DO SOME THINGS TO PUT HIS DEATH TO REST, AND I AM NOT SURE IF I WANT TO GO, HIS FUNERAL WAS IN JAN. I WENT, AND HAVE BEEN BACK SINCE AND THINK THAT I WOULD BE UNCOMFORTABLE TO BE THERE, BUT MY HEART WANTS TO BE THERE B/C I FEEL THAT HE WAS AND IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE MY DAD, HE RAISED ME SINCE I WAS 3 (26 NOW) AND GRANTED, I WAS MORE THAN REBELLIOUS, LOVED HIM AND AM GRATEFUL FOR HIM, I LIVED THE LAST 8 YEARS TRYING TO GAIN HIS ACCEPTANCE AND HIS LOVE, WITH NO LUCK, I FEEL THAT I SHOULD GO TO SAY GOOD BYE AND LET IT GO. I FEEL THAT I SHOULDN'T GO, B/C I HAVE HAD TO GO THROUGH ALOT OF PAIN .. DAMMIT, FIND MY NEXT POST PLEASE... THANKS.. ALICIA PT.1

I agree with some of the other answerers. Write a letter to him, write all that you feel, the hurt, the longing of wanting his acceptance, etc... and also the good stuff. End the letter with "I will not let this hurt overtake my life." When you get to his grave, or in a place you feel comfortable, read it out loud and then rip it up.

you assert those human beings have been your persons as quickly as, yet now not. What surpassed off? do not say you don;t understand, considering the fact which you DO understand. some thing surpassed off. Sorry, i'm heavily attempting that could be useful you right here, so I gained;t play around. i don't purchase this tale. i don't think that a set of human beings might ALL decide for to scrub you, to intentionally mock you, that your ex lady pal and your persons intentionally flirt to make you sense undesirable. you're wallowing in self pity, and thanks to this you're friendless and on my own. So, it rather is as much as you... stay like this, convince your self your a sufferer, and get progressively extra depressed.. OR, get off your pity pony, end feeling sorry for your self, attempt and be a pal rather of a kicked dogs, and commence being wonderful to be around.

Do what you really feel like. Don't think whether other accepted you or not. Listen to your heart and go for it without a second thought.. The more you think the more complicated it gets.

aww thats sad. you should go say your goodbyes. Then youll be more comfortable. and piece with yourself knowing you did.Do it now.. rather than never gettin the chance to do it again later.. and regretting it for the rest of your life.
