and to further support that argument, all babies are born atheists and without religion.
Does that prove God prefers atheism and no religion?

The Biblical God does not believe in a Supreme Being relative to himself.
If God isn't an atheist, does that mean an atheist who considers himself to be God isn't really an atheist?
The Biblical God is an atheist.

The prefix "a" means "without."
The prefix "anti" means "against."
ALL babies are born atheists and have no religion.

To repeat:
The Biblical God does not believe in a
"Supreme Being" relative to himself. Atheists do not believe in "Supreme Beings" relative to themselves.
Bible believers often claim or imply atheists think they are Gods.
Obviously, the Biblical God thinks himself to be a God and has no God above him, ergo, he is an atheist.

Atheism means "I don't believe a Supreme Being exists."
Babies do not believe Supreme Beings exist until they are taught that concept.
I know because I am a father and grandfather, as well as uncle to dozens & dozens of children. And not one of them asked about "God" until they had been exposed to the idea by adults.

Awesome! This is one of those questions the Priest just walks away from because it destroys the structure of his unfounded beliefs.
(Sorry, I've been berated too many times today by Jesus Freaks and am feeling the slightest bit bitter.)
However, I agree. Maybe God created us, then saw what a mess we became, got pist that we killed his Prophet and withdrew. Then with a handy little swipe of his all powerful hand he drops the knowledge of *gasp* Choice onto our children. So they may chose to see His path, or one of the many other paths that lead to same "God," the same Heaven concept. The fact that most people distort that choice is irrelevent.
Or, he wants to be left alone and doesn't want 50,000 prayers from people who thought about sex a billion times a day and are asking for forgiveness. He got tired of shouting, " I MADE you that way, why do I care?"

A lot of people are not understanding the term atheist. Let me break it down for them...
The statement "I believe that God exists" can be negated in two ways. Note the difference.
(1) I do NOT believe that God exists.
(2) I believe that God does NOT exist.
Both are atheism, but usually only the second is recognized as atheism by the religious sheep -- because they have a hard time accepting that someone could just possibly not be convinced by "the god story."
In any event, position (1) is the default position when we are born. That's his point. Babies don't have beliefs of any sort until they are taught to them.

Where exactly is your "info" coming from... I just don't really know where you are coming from with this... But in the BIBLE ( GOD"S WORD) it says.. Several times in the bible ( I can not remember the QUOTES so be advised that this is paraphrasing) it is mentioned that You should make your self as an INNOCENT CHILD or you WILL NOT BE SAVED>>> Now tell me exactly HOW a child , Baby, 5 year, 7 old..10 or 12 possibly etc... KNOW THE WORD OF GOD>>>AND BE CAPEABLE OF SIN? You have to be old enough to understand Gods Word and put it to work... As for God being an atheist , do you even realize what that means??? How could he not believe in himself or be against himself...

God is not an atheist. God,himself, believed that people would make imaginary gods or worship themselves by saying "Thou shall not have no other gods before me." God is a supreme being and he does believe in a supreme being who is his son Jesus Christ. JESUS said himself that he was equal to God. He said "I and the Father are one." That why Jesus is sitting on the "Right hand of the Father" right now on the throne. Babies are not atheist because they have no knowledge of any choices whether they are non-beliefs or beliefs. Atheism is a choice just like everything else IS.

Yes! Babies are born with no preference for a faith or a belief in a higher power.....but that does not nullify the fact that a Higher Power exists. The baby is born with a soul and the spiritual part of the baby is comfortable with having no knowledge of it's spiritual source.
Atheists, are correct in believing that they are the ultimate power and decision maker in their life....the Higher Power is not concerned with it's existence being proven.....because it will exist without anyone or anything's permission.
If there is no Higher Power, then the atheist should live peacefully and let the unenlightened people like myself believe as we choose. Certainly I cause you no harm, and your defence of a non-existent entity is highly illogical.

Muslims could argue with you regarding the point you mention about children "all babies are born atheists and without religion", it is mentioned in the Koran that baby Jesus was talking to the people and telling them that he is the slave of God (Allah) and his messenger so he was not atheist , of course that happened when they asked his mother to explain where she got this baby from, she pointed to baby Jesus and he started talking and Muslims consider this one of his miracles. By the way I am an atheist too.

Sorry but I don't follow, Babies can't even make choices. So they don't chose to be atheist. Atheism is a choice, not a state of being. God believes in himself, obviously, so why would he be atheist. Sorry but your logic is confusing. It sounds like to you're trying to tell us the 1 + 1 = 11.

An atheist is someone who does not believe in God. Since God is God, He can not be an atheist and not believe in Himself. Circulatory thinking does not make for a good premise for a debate.

well i disagree w/you on many points but i do agree w/you about babies being born w/o religion, i think people to often forget that religion truely is man made however God is not...
I do not think I understand your statement about God, are you saying that God does not believe that he exists? that arguement does not hold up and is easily defeated, you might say God believed in himself and so we should only believe in ourselves, but then we are still acknowledging that God does exist so i guess that just doesnt work either... well its a good arguement if you dont really think about it at all and just accept it...

Hi, your setaceous, sanctimonious assertions are ridiculous. Why do you think you had an umbilical cord? Because the biblical God, gave you one to live, you unbeliever, deep down you know you should die. But the coward that you are, you deny the world that pleasure, and the legions that should follow you. God will tie His umbilical cord on judgment day around your neck, upon your reincarnation, bet on it.
