if you have cloves of garlic, chop them as fine as you can in slithers, place the garlic on the chops, light dusting with oregano and wrap in foil and place in the oven. Cook very slowly for a tender chop, just before they are ready grate the cheese. Take the cooked chops from the oven and remove the foil. You can leave the garlic on if you want. Put the chops on the plates you are eating from and add the cheese to taste.

Grilled Mustard-Honey Garlic Pork Chops

I have made these pork chops many times on the outdoor grill, they are very good, and can also be made under the broiler too. ALL marinade ingredients can be adjusted to suit taste. Although this recipe states to marinade for 24 hours, I have prepared the chops and the marinade in the morning, and grilled them in the evening, that is about 8-9 hours marinating time, and they were still wonderful.

6-8 pork chops (3/4 - 1-inch thick)
MARINADE
1/4 cup orange juice
1/3 cup liquid honey
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon white wine (or to taste)
2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce (or to taste)
1 tablespoon onion powder (or to taste)
3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1-2 tablespoon chopped fresh garlic (or to taste)
black pepper

In a bowl combine all marinade ingredients, adjusting to suit taste.
Prick the chops all over with a fork, and place in a shallow glass dish.
Pour the marinade over the chops and turn to coat well.
Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours, or overnight (turning the pork chops occasionally to make certain that it gets marinated evenly).
When ready to grill, discard the marinade.
On a medium-high heat, grill the chops on both sides for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until the chops are done.

Cavender's Greek seasoning is very good. There's several "dry rub" BBQ mixes available. I've never had garlic on pork chops, but I love the idea. Grated dried parmesan or mozarella might be nice on pork chops, but I would avoid a lot of cheese, I think, since pork chops are quite greasy already.

You could make a marinara sauce and spice it as you like. Experiment. I love mushroom sauce on pork chops with lots of freshly ground black pepper.

You can coat the pork chops in blue cheese and fry them. That's great!

Big DITTO on the Dijon mustard!

Play around. Have fun!

How about a thin layer of mustard followed by thin slices of tangey apple, something like cox orange pippin, followed by a dusting of garlic salt a touch of cinnamon and then some lancashire cheese. Make sure the chops are well cooked on both sides first and add the above to one side and grill slowly for 10-15mins. Serve with Garlic Mash and spiced beans

Come one onion and a few cloves of garlic. In a saucepan warm some extra virgin olive oil. Begin to saute the onions until they begin to become translucent. Add the garlic and cook until the garlic become fragrant -- don't let it brown or it will be bitter. Add a can of tomato puree with crushed tomatoes. Add a couple of bay leaves, dried basil and oregano to taste and simmer.
Pound some boneless pork chops until they are about 1/2 inch or slightly less thick. Dredge in a Parmesan/breadcrumb mixture. Heat some extra virgin olive oil in a skillet. Cook the pork chops until browned on both sides.
Drain the pork chops on paper towels. Place them in a 13 by 9 inch cooking pan. Cover with tomato sauce. Top with slices of provolone cheese. Serve with pasta.

Gonna give you my favorite recipe:

Put salt & pepper on pork chops. Brown in olive oil, then remove pork chops to a plate temporarily.

Pour in 1 cup wine (whatever you are drinking at the moment), 1T fennel seeds, 1t hot pepper flakes, a smashed clove of garlic then 1T tomato paste.
Let boil a minute, then add the chops again, and cook another 2 minutes, coating the chops with the sauce.

Really good with fried cauliflower on the side, or potatoes or pasta.

In a bowl put some soy sauce, mashed garlic, chopped fresh ginger, a little water and splash of olive oil. Put in your pork chops (especially nice with chicken as well!) and marinate in the fridge for a couple of hours, or better still, overnight. Cook as normal and enjoy!

You can cook them in an oxo cuce. They do all sorts of spicy oxo cubes, then add some onions, garlic and chilli- either the powder or the actual chillies themselves. Use as much as you would like it.

I recommend half a chilli but it's all down to personal choice, then add some coriander and tomato puree and voila

there you have it pork chop a'la spice.

Bon appetit

Why not try this recipe I have just found on the Internet?
