I think dirt not sure? any time after rain they just pop up on the ground. instead of researching first i want to see your brilliant answers. :)

they come from other worms, but yes they live in the soil and when it rains they can drown if they dont get air so they come to the surface to keep from drowning in the soil , you will find more worms comming to the surface in clay soils as in sandy soils there is much faster drainage. worms are asexual, which means they have the reproductive organs of both genders and they simply sort of glue themselves to another worm to exchange the substance needed for each to then lay eggs. worms also can be cut in two and both halves will heal and grow new ends and continue to be a whole worm.

They come from the dirt, they live under the grow and when it rains the water make the worm pop up cause the dirt becomes mood, water make dirt soft so that aloud the worms to get out of the grown and play around in the water, and when the water is gone they go back under the grown.

they come from God. God created them and then they reproduced to make more and more, just like humans and every other living creature. Saying that they come from dirt is CRAZY! Living things cannot be created by something that is not living.
