For the vast majorityof people not enough to upgrade. There are more features--but it is all a bunch of crap.
What people should do is download OpenOffice from www.openoffice.org. This is a totally free open source full featured office suite. It can do everything MS-Office can and it totally compatible with it.

The Perfect answer which i can say you is Versions, Once they update the functionallities and usage of the Application they will name the product in this new version.,
for example, MS Office 2000 was launched in the year 2000 and the Ms Office 2003 was launched in 2003., thats it

MS office 2000 is office build in year 2000. and has less space. where as MS office 2003 is renevvated in 2003 and has more space and functions.

U may have more options in 2000 compared to Office-97,
same way u may have further more options in 2003. U can instal then only u can come to know.

there is much difference between the both.
and ms office 03 is more advanced than the 2000.
and you can also use ms office xp available in market for best use and advanced options.
