To get through the interview process, absolutely, we all perform for that.
As for a promotion; by the time you're ready to move up your boss would have a good handle on your real personality by then.

No, NEVER... cuz in the end you won't always be able to hold that mold forever.. and it could cause so many different changes in your life it could send you into a state of depression.. most people wouldn't do it because, even if it might get you a promosion think about how it will affect the rest of your life.. and don't think that you'll just have that personality at work, and only at work.. because it won't that personality will follow you where ever you go until.. it finally wins over the true personality you had before you became just another actor in life..

I would strongly advise against it, as it will make you miserable. In doing so, you will feel the need to be the person people think you are or want you to be, not who you are. That is a terrible thing to do to yourself, let me tell you. You and your happiness are more important than some job (unless you are in such the situation that the job in necessary for your health)
Happiness is key.
You can't be happy if you're always fake.
It's uncomfortable, to say the least.

The reason you were born...the very reason you wake up each day, is to mold yourself into the person you ought to be.
If you are not always changing for the better, you are a fool.
A day was made for growth, and nothing else.
Surprise God. You won't regret it. He is rich, and quite generous, in the end.

Yes. You are selling you to the interviewer. Promote the best aspects of you. Don't lie and don't be a phony. You can spot a phony a mile away. Be you just the best of you.
Why the toilet? Seriously :)
Good luck babe :)

Never mold yourself for anyone or anything or any job. It isn't worth it. Be yourself, always, and you will go further in life...

Yes until I find something better. Look at the alternative. Would you rather have your unsuitable personality and be homeless?

That all depends. If you want to live to work then you need to change to be whatever your job wants you to be, but you just work to live then dont change who you are over a job.

If you think you can still remain true to yourself, then by all means. Personalities can be changed, after all.
