Heaven, Hell, etc.?

You wanna save my soul? Tell me what you know and how you know it. I want arguments on both sides, about Heaven, Hell does it exist, faslities, etc.

This is only a short statement, although it seems long.

The Bible teaches that the soul dies (Ezekiel 18:4, 20) The choices given have always been life or death, not permanent torture. i.e. the choice given to the Israelites (Jews) when they were given the commandments (only 10 of which were written on the stone tablets) also John 3:16 offers everlasting life as the blessing for choosing to follow. Revelation chapter 20 shows that the greek word that is translated as "hell" in a few of the existing translations today, is not the lake of fire, but is actually thrown into the lake of fire.

There are many more scriptures which show that God does NOT torment people forever in a fiery hell. The punishment can be eternal (many examples could here be listed, such as the punishment of Sodom and Gomorrah was permanent, but they are not still burning today, or the city of Babylon would never be rebuilt.) Revelation 20 speaks of the 2nd death, so there are 2 types of deaths: the one we inherit from Adam, because of his sin, and there are many scriptures that could be listed here that would show that this is the one that a resurrection is possible, but then the one in Revelation speaks of death and hell being thrown into the lake of fire, which is the 2nd death - so there is symbolic language used there.

If one is really interested, then time is involved in sharing all of the scriptural proof that hell is not a place where one is burning in fire forever as punishment for sins. The Bible shows that the punishment for sin is death. The Genesis account itself, Romans 5:12, Romans 6:23, and others can all be used to prove this.

The parable (a story that is told with a lesson to be learned) of the rich man and Lazarus is just that, a parable and should not be taken literally, although many people do take it literally, but the context of those passages can be used to show that it is symbolic.

The Bible is really simplistic in its teaching. It is the teaching of some religions that make it complicated. I find it quite understandable why some people take it as a bunch of "mumbo jumbo" when they hear what some religions claim the Bible says.

Look around you, look at the beauty of the world, not the bad part. The bad part was of or own making - who made the good part? If you have read the Bible you can see the events that were told would come are. How could someone for tell the future and be so right on track unless he knew what was going to happen. They say people wrote the Bible, of coarse they did.But who inspired them to write it all the same way? Somebody bigger than you and I.

Hell is the Core of the earth as stated in Ephesians 4:9.

The bible has been proven to be a accurate historical document.

Now it is your choice to research that with out going to the Atheists for help.

Also how come god doesnt kill the devil if he hates him so much

If YOU "wanna save your soul", you should seek the truth, and not sit on your butt waiting for people to convince you. That's the worse way to be guided, because you will always have expectations...
