I wanted to know if U r a muslim male, can u marry a woman who is not a muslim of your choice?

A Muslim man can marry a Muslim, Christian or Jewish girl.
A Muslim woman can marry only a Muslim man.
YES, a Muslim man AND woman can marry anyone of their choice, as long as they obey the rules of Islam regarding choice.
Now tell that to their parents!

yes a muslim man has the right to marry -- People of the Book -- Jews, Christians and Muslims. now -a-days, some Muslim men even marry Hindus.
Although Muslim women cannot marry anyone other than a Muslim-- one of my freind did marry a Christian and she is now a Christian too. i have also had a freind who have married a Hindu, they are now in Dubai.
although Muslim women cannot marry someone of other Faith -- Love Marraiges have a history in Islam although, it shouldnt lead to fornication. if Love is True and if the personal space between 2 individuals is respected, then Love Marraiges are also allowed.

Muslim men are allowed to marry Muslim, Christian and Jewish women. However, the children must be raised as Muslims.
Muslims men are not allowed to marry pagans and idolaters (like Hindus, Buddhist, etc.)
Muslim women are only allowed to marry Muslim men.

Marriage is a relationship between or among individuals, usually recognized by civil authority and/or bound by the religious beliefs of the participants.
A Muslim male is allowed religiously to maryy any girl/woman from the religious by Allah (God) like Christian, Jews etc.
After marriage both have the right to live their lives accoding to their faiths, nobody can impose on one another.

a Muslim MAN can marry a muslim or a christian or a jew...( that is the ppl of the scripture) but NOT hindus, buddhists, pagans, athiests (since they r NOT the ppl of the scripture!
but a muslim WOMAN can only marry a muslim!!

Yes. You can marry any other women from the "Ahlel Kitab" meaning people of the book. They are Christians and Jews. So if you marry a Christian or a Jewish woman you have no probs. But you cann't marry any other kind of women. But it is the best to marry someone that is from your same religion so that you have tranquility.

Here, due to freedom in America, and Freedom of Religion,
ya, but they will be shamed and the family will dis own them. And all Muslim, turn there face, that child looses face in home, and church.
I have a friend who told me that, she is a born again Muslim.

yes, but not any religion, we are allowed to marry believers in one GOD, so, a muslim man can marry Muslim or christian or jwe women only.
