Besides "Tie my yellow bow tie ya" and "Who stole my Honda"... Does anyone know more phrases I can use to pray in tongues?

jas3tm: Ignorance? Please show me one misspelled word in my question. Your IQ of 160 isn't serving you too well. Idiot? Better watch yourself; I may have to report you to Yahoo! for bashing an atheist. Since I am a gentleman, I will refrain from telling you to suck me sideways. Have a blessed day!

No matter what you pray in "tongues," it won't make any difference, unless you are praying in a real foreign language, like Spanish or French, etc. about something that really matters to you and to God. The gift of tongues was given to the 1st century Christians so that they could share the message about the Christ to more people than just those who spoke their native tongue (language). What they said in those foreign languages made sense, especially to those who spoke the language. It was only a "side-effect" that it showed that they had God's spirit (approval). Acts chapter 2 Doesn't that make sense???

Spiritual gifts are the subject of 1Corinthians chapter 12. It is however; speaking in tongues which is the proper terminology.
This is in 1Corinthians 12:30

Since a tongue is a language, I'd say any phrase in any language will do.
