that have nothing to do with Muslims since they do not take part in that violence or are victims themselves but turn a blind eye when their own country perpetrates acts of terrorism/invasion and hegemony all over the world?
Why do they expect Muslims to listen to their demands/commands?
We didn't see any mass protests by non-Muslims reported in the media against the Pope's remarks. Should we conclude (wrongly) that ALL non-Muslims are also intolerant bigots?

I am not against anyone condeming terroist acts. But why single out the Muslims for demands of mass protests?
So there were mass protests before the Iraq war in some western nations. a lot good THAT did.
then there's the same crap about the pope "only quoting" somebody else. Since when is it ok to abuse someone with words borrowed from another? Why couldn't the pope use the crusades as an example to show that violence and religion do not go together?

killing ANYONE who is innocent is wrong in Islam, as was the nun's murder. it was a spineless crime and the murderer will be put to death according to Islamic law.
that still doesn't answer my question. why single out the Muslims with demands? because Muslims will never do what you want them do to since we do not answer to anyone but God.
how do we solve this?

we solve this by stopping political, military, financial interference in the affairs of other nations. Muslims already beleive in Jesus Christ as the Messiah and that didn't work. the US continues to hunt for scapegoats anyway.
Forgiveness has great importance in Islam. Tolerating oppression under the name of 'forgiveness' is not acceptable to Muslims.
Do the demands still stand?

Why are you opposed to Muslims, or anyone, condemning any terrorist act? Are you saying they should support these acts?
It seems the whole world, Muslim and non-Muslim, should be condemning terrorists.
And regarding the Pope.....how many times should he apologize? Twice....six times....what is the number that will be acceptable? Would the murder of a nun who was also a nurse working in a children's hospital also help to atone for his sin?
P.S. Addition:
In you additional comments you've added:
"then there's the same crap about the pope "only quoting" somebody else. Since when is it ok to abuse someone with words borrowed from another? Why couldn't the pope use the crusades as an example to show that violence and religion do not go together?"
You are honestly trying to make the point that the Pope should make a point that violence and religion do not go together when it was a Catholic nun helping sick children that was intentionally targeted, ambushed, and executed; being shot 7 times by muslims because they were angry at the words spoken by the Pope? I think these Islamic assassins may have made his point for him in a very dramatic way.
You have yet to say this killing of an innocent servant of God, who was helping children in a hospital was a deplorable act. All you continue to do is rant about spoken words. What is wrong with you?!
PPS: We solve it by living as Jesus Christ taught us to live and treat one another. He was asked by Peter, How many times should I forgive my brother, 7 times? Jesus tells him, No..70 times 7. Meaning we must forgive over and over and over with no limits. We are not to riot and burn and blow up and shoot down everything and everyone because they said something that was deemed offensive. No one can ever utter a verbal word that would justify destruction and death. This is why Islam is getting a bad rap. Now use some common sense and ask your question again.....How do we solve this?
Additional: You responded to, "How do we solve this?" with:
"we solve this by stopping political, military, financial interference in the affairs of other nations. Muslims already beleive in Jesus Christ as the Messiah and that didn't work. the US continues to hunt for scapegoats anyway."
My question is: How do you equate Religious teachings of Islam and that of Christianity; the killing of innocent people in blowing up public places and executing a nun on a sidewalk for the sake of religious differences; with the list of reasons you gave?
What does temporal political, military, financial interference in the affairs of other nations have to do with religion? Nothing. Islam is violent and intollerant and wishes to convert everyone in the world to their way or they will kill them. Islam was spread by the sword. Islam still is forced by the sword; or gun or bomb. No other religion in the world behaves the way Islam does, period.

I'd say that there are probably intolerant bigots on every side. Or maybe just ignorant.
However, killing people seems a little more extreme than the Pope's remarks. (Not that I'm defending the Pope or anything like that, he has nothing to do with me and my religion.) But, terrorism isn't a part of the Muslim beliefs, is it? (So I've read that it isn't, anyways.) Therefore, by not speaking out, it makes it seem as if terrorism is accepted. I mean, if some group of Christians somewhere was killing people because of their beliefs, I would not be silent. I would think that you all would want to correct the ignorant assumptions the rest of us make.
But the Pope's words are still just words. Intolerant, possibly, but would anyone have known or remembered if everyone hadn't made such a big deal about it? Or, do you think that if the Pope had pulled out a machine gun and started gunning down Muslims or putting bombs in bus stations no-one would mind?
Finally, I must point out how you make it sound like there are two types of people in the world, Muslims and non-Muslims. I know you were trying to make a point, but...

Because these terrorists claim to be fighting for YOU and your fellow Muslims. Unless you are that naive you should know that these terrorists are becoming THE face of Islam precisely because there is no counter-image for non-Muslims to compare against.
If you are talking about the Iraq war... didnt you see the protest rallies in the run-up to the war???
As for the Pope... you should understand that most non-Muslims value freedom of speech, and in case you dont know he just quoted that remark from some emperor guy and in any event it is just one man's opinion. And there is a difference between saying a quote about a dead emperor's opinion, and blowing up innocent people with suicide bombs.
Some counters to your added commentary:
Yep you can pretty much say that the anti-Iraq war protests failed to stop the war or end the carnage that followed... but at least we can say we tried. Can enough Muslims say "we tried to stop Osama or tell them that they are not loved and not supported"?
You ask why not use the Crusades as an example of how violence and religion dont go together? Because Christians (in general) have already learned the mistake of the Crusades. We have already learned not to confuse Religion with politics. Have you Muslims learned to separate Religion from Politics???

there is no type of muslim that any Islamophobic considers OK, no contant disclaimers of terrorism makes a Muslim less Muslim enough for them to trust. They will still repeat Why didnt Muslims say they were sorry"(for what?if you haven't done anything are you "sorry" becasue u belong to the same raceor ethnic group or religion as some criminal was?)
You can take off yr scarf, wear lots of makeup tight jeans, go drinking wahtever it is that an observant Muslim wouldn't normally do - but yr still an "other" to them. Even if you changed yr race and ethnicity to a pearly white caucasian if you weren't already it wouldn't matter to them.
So you might as well do as you please and what u believe is right since there is no "Muslim" that will please them.

For the same reason that any Bible believing Christian makes pleas to the Christian population to love others as themselves, to accept them and to teach by example, when confronted with the images of "Christians" that seem to form the stereotype of what the entire faith is about. They only wish to accurately portray their religion to the world.

Are you retarded? No, I'm not saying that to be sarcastic... I really want to know... Are you? Because the terrorist acts are being done in the name of Islam and the last time I checked, that was the religion of the Muslims. THAT is why we expect Muslims to condemn the terrorist acts and it's people like you who make certain people feel that all Muslims are pro-terrorism.

Because having 1/3 of the global population believing they should kill the other 2/3 is unacceptable.
Muslims continually badmouth Christians. How many Muslims get dragged from their beds and are slaughtered each time this happens?
Every time a Christian even hints something is wrong with Mohamed, thousands are butchered.

You're either with them or you're against them. They are Muslim. If you don't disagree with their actions then you agree. I wouldn't try to justify your non-action by pointing to others alleged non-action. Justification only confirms what is suspected.
