I recently joined the "single world" and met a wonderful women. She is perfect for me! We were watching a movie and we started kissing. Well, one thing led to another and it was on. My question is...Is having sex on the first date bad? I wasn't planning it and we are still together (exclusively). Just wanted a second opinion...Thanks

ok I had sex with my now husband on our first date and i think overall if we would have waited a little longer to get to know each other a little better before sex it would be a much different relationship. Wouldnt you respect her more if she wouldnt have been so "easy". Well anyways i wasnt planning on me and him falling in love and eventually getting married at the time i just needed some. But I think its a bad idea to have sex on the first date. Respect is the issue here, get to know someone for a couple of months before you do the nasty. :) its only one of the rules of a relationship. I think its only better in the long run. We have been married for 3 yrs now with 2 kids so not saying it wont work out but hey its too late now.

Hey, for some having sex on the first date is ok, for others not.
If you are still together, just be with it, and do not dwell on the fact if it is right or wrong

Not the best thing to do but ya cant take it back. I did the same thing and i've been with my man for over 4 yrs now. Hope things work out for the two of ya.

if it's working out for you two...then its ok for you two. Its just that people forewarn about having sex on the first date because of diseases, and no one wants their emotions hurt, and that you've just recently entered the dating scene after perhaps a long relationship, that's all.

I wouldn't say it's a bad thing exactly. If that's what both of you want then why not? Just make sure that if you really do like her that she's just not in it for some play.

I don't know exactly what to tell you but for sure don't listen to that first reply simply because you had sex with someone on the first date doesn't mean they will be untrustworthy.

Socially speaking, it's "bad." But since you are still together exclusively, then it's not.
It's only bad if you guys think it internally. However if you don't feel it's bad internally and neither does she, it's not.
It's all relative. You don't need our opinions.

You have done it well, man? it's okey as long as both of you were eager and aggree for whatever consequences might occur as result of sex...the responsibility incase she might be pregnant? or having transmiited with HIV because doing it without condom? If you accept these then no problem at all....

I say that it is not a bad thing. It worked for me .I married & had three kids with a man that I went out with & had sex with on the 1st date.16 years later still going strong.
