You outgrow the 'ugly' stuff sooner than you think. You learn to take care of your skin and eat right, and soon you're the one everyone wants to copy and look like. Keep exercising, though-- the metabolism thing does get a little harder after 30. ANYway-- you'll look back on this time-- again, WAY sooner that you would think-- and wonder what you EVER saw in these goofy little people. And you'll change your mind again dozens of times before that. So don't get hung up on any of 'em for now. Focus on your studies and a couple of solid, wise girlfriends- that's what will last. God made you for just one guy ultimately anyway. Since chances are more than likely that this one isn't he and it's definitely not time for you to be looking for any permanent hook-ups, spend your emotions constructively (music? art? church/community service?) instead of following some crowd.

the "POPULAR" kids are never as awesome as they seem. Some are really nice people and thats why they have so many friends but most of them are fake and live shitty lives where the only good time they will ever have is making others feel like less of a person when they are there...woohoo. If you think he hates you then he is probably one of the second examples of a popular kid. forget him
Also beating urself up cuz u cant get a guys attension is pointless cuz ur stuck with who u are forever. guys are usally atrracted to girls who are comfortable with themselves. shy and self esteem are two totally different things.

I was curently going through the same problem... I say screw it. CARPE DIEM!! Sieze the day even if it doesn't go quite right. This world is to absorbed with out side images. Watch the episode of the twilite zone called "beauty is in the eye of the beholder"
