I know this is counter-intuitive to what's promoted by most diets- but I was wondering if they body would lose weight rapidly if given only water & sugar. No fat, no nutrients, only sugar. Think like Nerds, Gobstoppers, and Sprees for breakfast, lunch and dinner. (Not chocolate/caramel as it is high in fat.)
I'm not asking if it's healthy.
Correct me if I’m wrong but sugar is usually the culprit of weight gain because one of it's main functions is to convert calories into fat, but what if it were given no calories (that would be beneficial) to store? This is sort of the same concept as an iceberg lettuce diet, except sweeter. Any input dieticians/chemists/experts?
