I'm curious, because all the guys I've dated have been over 6'1". I have to look up to kiss them and sometimes stand on my tippy toes, especially the one who was 6'4". I also got nicknamed "shorty."

Women stop growing at age 16. The average height of a woman in the United States is 5'6". You are just a pinch under the average height, far from short by any chart. You obviously like tall men, and ya know what a lot of tall guys like tiny petite girls, I think it makes them look bigger and more masculine. Lucky you.

I'm 5'5", and as an Asian, no that is not short. I work for an American company and people from the west don't think I'm short. "Shorty" is a term of endearment, and may not necessarily have anything to do with height. Men dig that you are smaller than they are. ::wink!wink!::

that is not short I'm 5'10" and I've never even been close to a girl my height they're always 5 foot or less so be proud for a girl your between average and among the taller ones

5'5" is prolly average in the U.S., and the WORLD average for a woman is 5'2"!
You just like tall guys is all. Your exclusive taste makes you feel shorter. If you don't like it, then don't exclude all men under 6 feet!

Nope, 5'5 is perfectly average. (Actually, 5'3 to 5'4 is average, but whatever!) Now me, I'm 4'11 and the shortest guy I ever dated was 5'10! :-)

I'm like, 5'3", 5'2". so 5'5"... you're good LOL girls in general are shorter than guys. no idea why, just seems to be that way. you probably got the nick either from dating those tall guys or because you're one of the shorter people of your friends lol like me :D
