I have a ridiculously brilliant idea....what if we got on our knees and actually confessed our sins right to God.
Then people could confess from the comfort and safety of their own home. No need to bother with the rising costs of gas or the inconvenience of traffic, and no need to wear a seat belt.
Anyone who finds this offensive I am sorry.

I wonder how many would joke around with you or be true?
People here on the computer reading your, and my idea's, are people like me who have no life, and if they have no life, do they have sin? We go no where, we sit, we type, wow, life, whats that. Its a mind full.
Ya honey,
Confession is good, but it is between one person an God's son, no one Else has nail scars, and no one else bled out on a Cross but Jesus, so think he is the only one who can take sin away after confessing.
Then he will say, go an sin no more, you tell that to someone they will laugh in your face, like ya, who are you?

The whole concept of sin is a religious dogma invented to make people have lower self esteem and believe that they are bad and wrong and in need of correction. The Catholic church has worked this to perfection. People go in and confess all their sins to some freak priest who punishes them by making them recite a prayer or something equally banal.
The whole premise is that you have to attend church to speak to a priest so that he can punish you. Then your sins are gone until you sin again and the cycle of abuse starts all over again.
Frankly putting this ghastly idea online is a bad idea. For one thing the whole idea is to guilt you into going to church, so circumventing that is not what they would want. Secondly, confessing online is really a lazy way out, which is hardly conducive to repenting.

I like the idea! but, there is no safety on this web site. I can't tell you how many times I have read "You are going to hell" or "you are an idiot" or how can you call yourself a Christian if... I think it would be good to have a flesh friend who you could trust. Who would not judge. Maybe an e-mail friend would work too, but I would be care full. You can't monitor the people that can view items here. I think this Idea has potential but not on this particular site.

I accept as true with you that toddler baptism is valid, yet enable's take a seem on the verses and statements you presented. - "enable the toddlers come to me" has not something to do with toddler baptism. This became into Jesus' representation of the childlike faith we are to have with God. - you return very close to to a works-orientated view of salvation once you assert that baptism is had to circulate into the dominion of heaven. Baptism isn't a unfastened bypass. back, your quote of John 3:5 has not something to do with toddler baptism. - you haven't got any evidence that "entire families" would desire to have risk-free toddlers, and credo Baptists will reject this argument right now. a extra valuable argument making use of those verses could be that the lifestyle of the day in contact authority mandating it, which might have utilized to different halves, servants, and young toddlers of any age, because of the fact Papa suggested so. you're superb, nonetheless, that the Bible would not forbid toddler baptism. this might placed the burden of evidence onto the credo Baptists to teach how individual judgements might prefer to be made interior the face of a fashion of life that would have rejected Christianity outright if baptism did not comprise the toddlers.

I like it! But since I dont care about what christians think of as "sins" I dont know what I'd write? I could put my sexual exploits, but thats just fun,not a sin...i could put my blasphemy, but I think trashing an imaginary god is not a sin. So please start this website, I'll post stuff that you THINK are sins if you want...just to get the ball rolling.

why not, people could even provide feedback, on how to avoid repeating the same mistakes. And you could just sign on to forgive somebody which is very good for the soul,
I don't know how serious you are , but I like the idea.

Stepping up to the plate. I can't have sweets, but I crave them every day. I lust for them in my heart and have urges to steal them from babies. I stole a nibble from a cookie yesterday. I'll probably do it again tomorrow. I am weak.
