Mazda 6 2006, or Civic LX 2007 for 1K less? Which would you buy?

If you had the budget? I know that one is a mid-size, and the other is a compact, and I've test-driven both, but want to hear advice based on experience with the two cars. Thanks,

I don't think either. The Mazda 6 is okay, but nothing special. The Civic was pretty disappointing to me. I found it slow and noisy. Maybe the Si is better.

have you considered the Civic SI?
