From one shorty to another, take it with reverend pride. We short people are not too short, everyone else is too tall. LOL. Turn it around and make it a joke. Have fun at your own expense. Everytime someone calls me shorty, my standard responses are, "......and proud of it!" or "What's up tally?" LOL

Don't take it any kind of way,it's not like he insulted you. "Shorty" is also a term of endearment that guys call a female,regardless of height.

It's a term of endearment. Take it as flattery. He likes you. He can more easily say "shorty" instead of "I like you."

It depends on how he said it. If it's in a cute, mocking way, he likes you and don't be offended.
If he meant it in a "gangsta' way then he's not interested in you sexually, but as a friend.
And if he said it as an insult to mock your height, then be offended.
