take the puppy to the vet, it could be having an allergic reaction to something. Puppies are always very playful, then they sleep and play some more.

my friends puppy had the same problem you need to get him to the vet asap her dog got like that from gettin into antifreeze the neighbor left out

dogs do fast ; the puppy will eat & drink after 24 hours.
