At Last by Etta James. I'm using this song to walk down the aisle. I'm also using, "Going to the Chapel" while my flower girls walk down the aisle. My niece is going to play somewhere over the rainbow during the wedding while we light the unity candle. and we're going to walk out to, " You're in my heart" by Rod Stewart. I hope this helps! I'm going to play, "Thinking, Wishing...." the song off of the first part of My Best friend's Wedding, before the wedding...along with some other ones. I haven't picked all the before songs yet. There is also a book by The Knot.com and it's all about weddings. In the book there is a section on wedding songs for all the different important moments at your wedding. Most local libraries have this book. You should check yours and see if they have it. Good Luck!

Let's try this. Did they have a first date? Where's the song from that day? Did they meet somewhere when a song was being sung? Did they eat something special? What do they like? Did something make them laugh the first time they met & there was a song playing....Anything could be the "perfect" song. Anything that they remember that was special to them, together. All in their taste, not the ones who come to the wedding. It's their day.

The most perfect and beautiful song I know for a wedding is "Unbreakable" by Westlife. It says it all. Best wishes to your friend in her new life.

Unbreakable

Took my hands, touched my heart
Held me close, you were always there
By my side, night and day
Through it all, baby come what may
Swept away on a wave of emotion
Oh we’re caught in the eye of the storm
And whenever you smile I can hardly believe that you’re mine
Believe that you’re mine

This love is unbreakable
It’s unmistakable
And each time I look in your eyes
I know why
This love is untouchable
A feeling my heart just can’t deny
Each time I look in your eyes, oh baby
I know why
This love is unbreakable

Share the laughter, share the tears
We both know we’ll go on from here
Cuz together, we are strong
In my arms, that’s where you belong
I’ve been touched by the hands of an angel
I’ve been blessed by the power of love
And whenever you smile, I can hardly believe that you’re mine

This love is unbreakable
It’s unmistakable
Each time I look in your eyes
I know why
This love is untouchable
A feeling my heart just can’t deny
Each time you whisper my name, oh baby
I know why

This love is unbreakable
Through fire and flame
When all this is over
Our love still remains

This love is unbreakable
It’s unmistakable
Each time I look in your eyes
I know why
This love is untouchable
A feeling my heart just can’t deny
Each time you whisper my name, oh baby
I know why
Cuz each time I look in your eyes, oh baby
I know why,
This love is unbreakable

Depeche Mode - Somebody

I want somebody to share, share the rest of the my life
Share my innermost thoughts- know my intimate details
Someone who'll stand by my side and give me support
And in return she'll get my support.
Someone who'll listen to me when I want to speak about the world we live in and life in general
Though my views may be wrong, they may even be perverted
she'll hear me out and won't easily be converted
in fact we'll often disagree, but at the end of it all she will understand me.

I want somebody who cares for me passionately
With every thought and with every breath
Someone who'll help me see things in a different light
All the things I detest I will almost like
I don't want to be tied to anyone's strings
I'm carefully trying to steer clear of those things.
But when I'm asleep I want somebody who will put their arms around and kiss me tenderly
Though things like this make me sick, in a case like this I'll get away with it.

My husband and I danced to From This Moment by Shenia Twain and Bryan Adams. My father and I danced to You Dont Have To Let Go by Christina Aguilera. No one has ever heard of it, but its beautiful.
