If there are multiple gods why haven't they shown themselves?

God has shown Himself to us. We're just too self-centered to want to listen to Him. We have to get to the point where we're totally sick of living life for ourselves and get to the point where we're ready to give up all of our nothing for the only reason that we exist--to know God and to enjoy Him forever.

You're probably an atheist, am I right?

The truth did not come into the world naked, but clothed in signs and symbols.

Impatience and immaturity, unfortunately, have given religion a bad name. People want instant salvation and instant karma etc.

Do you really want to see the gods/ goddesses, who are Spirit – or do you want to believe the lies that God can be understood like a human; that God can be contained in a doctrine; that God is a glorified man with a halo; or that God is a visible alien in a spaceship?

If you still want to see the gods/ goddesses, there are methods. The big modern religion usually forbids these methods – so, are you game? Call upon any god or goddess of your choice and ask him/ her to reveal himself/ herself to you. Be patient, night after night. You might be surprised. When you least expect, god/ goddess might just come knocking on the door of your inner being.

its a simple question with simple answers. 1. we arent ready to understand what god is. 2. there are so many "gods" that people fail to realize the big picture. 3. god will show himself once everyone realizes the big picture. 4. what is the big picture? thats exactly my question, we are so close minded about god that its become almost like a statement called "ignorance is bliss" and that is we love to imagine god as this guy that gives us a thumbs up when we do something righteous according to ur religion, why cant you just have faith in god without a religion, no one said you need a religion to believe in god. not saying religion is bad, but it often leads to bias in everything, like if the pastor thinks something is "wrong", then everyone has to believe its wrong, because its coming from god, and of course its like the pastor has conversations with god everyday. where is the sense of individuality? i believe in god, and no i dont need any religion to strenghthen my faith, and thus faith is embedded within me, not a book or someone else.

From the Pagan and Christian :If you cannot find me within your self . You will not find me without.
The or They have shown ITS or Their SELVES all around you . you have just not been paying attention.
All things have SPIRIT from the smallest to the largest . you just don't reconsise it as you are looking for something like your self.
Example : a tree breathes and takes in carbon dioxide on the inhalation and releases oxygen on the exhale. The Earth has a slower cycle of life that us but it moves and changes.

God does practice himself popular to HIS toddlers, to not sinners. Sinners are biblically talked approximately as Gentiles -meaning those devoid of God. God speaks to HIS people, not people who're of the international, that's controlled by utilising devil. God's people have gained and belong to the dominion of God. as quickly as in the dominion, in the event that they get crammed with the Holy Ghost, they are going to then be geared up to hearken to God and talk with God besides as have the skill to totally obey God.

In "physical" we could not live to see God. Even Moses was only allowed to see the backside as God as He passed by him. God in the Holy Spirit "shows" himself all the time. We couldn't withstand it any other way, could we?

"The child whispered, 'God, speak to me'
And a meadow lark sang.
The child did not hear.

So the child yelled, 'God, speak to me!'
And the thunder rolled across the sky
But the child did not listen.

The child looked around and said,
'God let me see you' and a star shone brightly
But the child did not notice.

And the child shouted,
'God show me a miracle!'
And a life was born but the child did not know.

So the child cried out in despair,
'Touch me God, and let me know you are here!'
Whereupon God reached down
And touched the child.

But the child brushed the butterfly away
And walked away unknowingly."

In the New Testament it is stated that God revealed Himself through His Son Jesus. For instance, II Corinthians 4:6 says, "For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ."
Jesus Himself said, "If you have seen Me, You have seen the Father," when His disciples asked Him to show them the Father. John 14:8-10

The word "God" has been misused over the years and means so many different things, so it depends on what you mean by"God". If it's an old man sitting on a cloud, then no he doesn't exist. If it's a force that created everything, that implies it's separate from it, so no that can't exist. If by "God" you mean reality, or just "everything", then yes, it exists, and includes you!

According to the Bible book of Exodus, no one can see God and live. However, we know of his existence by the things he has made in the universe.
