Unfortunately.. it is doubtful that you would be able to get that information as it is not in the public record

A lot of times the county sheriff has a website where you can search for an inmate by name (if she's in county jail). Usually it will tell what they were booked for and when their next court date is.

I just looked her up in the LA county website. She's in the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, according to the website. http://www.lasd.org/ - on the left hand side, click inmate information and enter the search info.

Inmate info is not classified. It's public record.

go to the CDC (California Department of Corrections) website, and then get the number for the CDC inmate locator. You have enough information there to find out where she is if she is in prison. And it is public information, that they will tell you if someone is in jail. They might even tell you what she was charged with. Just call the LA county main jail and ask them. You might have to call a few jails to find her. Once you do, shoot her a letter with a pre-stamped envelop in it to write you back or provide a number to call collect. I guess that depends on how much you care. She can tell you what is up with her.

To locate an inmate within the California Department of Corrections, please call (916) 445-6713, which is available 24 hours a day. You must have either the inmate's CDC number, or the inmate's full name and date of birth to receive information. The Inmate Locator/ID Warrants will provide an inmate's location, mailing addresses and relevant phone numbers. The Inmate Locator/ID Warrants will not provide any future release date information. Please note that for new or transferring inmates it can take up to seven business days to update location information.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Dept has on their website a place you can search for inmates by full name. Try that
If she is in State Prison you have to call CDC in Sacramento and ask for a search by names and cdc #

Virginia has all that info online,
I don't know about Cali,
You can look up the different prisons and see if they have a website. Start there

This info is most probably classified. You'll have to ask her yourself, or the authorities.
