If you already know your diet is full of refined foods and is fiber deficient, then you know you need increased dietary fiber. If you have chronic constipation, then you know you need dietary fiber. Dietary fiber can be obtained by means other than supplements. Fiber contains cellulose, a substance which the digestive tract is unable to digest therefore provides the bulk necessary to move other, digested foods through the tract. Fiber also absorbs water and prevents stool from becoming dry, hard and impacted. When dietary fiber is increased, so should water intake be increased. They work together.
Weight loss has been mentioned more than once. Yes, certain fiber supplements specifically designed for this can create a temporary sensation of fullness in the stomach due to its ability to absorb water and expand in size.

Supplements are always taken when your nutritional intake isn't sufficient. So, people who don't get enough fiber in their diet have to take it dissolved in water or in pill form. Fiber helps your digestive system work smoothly. If you're experiencing digestive problems or intestinal pain, you should consider taking some more fiber. hope that answers it for you!

Fiber supplements are taken to stimulate the intestines/bowels to move your excrement/**** along the path. We eat too much white flour/cheese and not enough fresh fruit/veggies. Our digestive system needs the encouragement.

is your poop hard or painfull? Fiber attracts water and is indigestable and makes bowel activity more regular, and helps prevent polyp growth, and prevents cancer,,, BUT it is best to get your fiber from fresh fruit, fresh veggies, whole grain bread, and legumes..

fibre such as pysillium is like a broom for the bowels, usually people that need to lose weight need it the most
but slim people also need to 'sweep' their bowels sumtimes
milk, meat, sugar n 'white' processed foods make a stiky glug that glues to the intestines. (Worms n parasites luv this)
lots of people do 3-4 detox's a year to improve health n prevent future probs, they use fresh fruit or veg juices mixed with psylium, as well as vita-klenz or chinese cleanse
