the laws and courts are completely different where i live. but in general you can always get out of a speeding ticket, or at least get it reduced. when you go to court tell them your sorry. say some bullcrap like you were following the traffic and didnt mean to. i always say that i need to get to a gas station to take my medicine. its simple, just how hard you want to try and how much you want to lie.
oh ya. when you lie, dont screw it up by getting high or something. think the crap out

It just show you how different state to state laws are: In Colorado/Idaho/Oregon I never ever heard that one 90 days for speeding
If it was the first time in CO/ID/OR You would call up the DA at the City Court ask to meet with him about this. and he would said Yeah come on down ..... 1st or 2nd do without lawyer Courts don't like lawyers and bet you get Driving school if it's your first time. Or is PA that tough on the first time too?

If PA is anything like CA, just show up at the court and protest the ticket. Don't plead innocent but just try to get the ticket down. Usually you don't even need to go into the courtroom. While in line they will ask who is wanting to plead down. Either way just try to plead down. Not just down to 24 over. Try to plead down to 10 over and negotiate. Most courthouses will take your plead out in the hall rather than waste the court/judges time.

Get a lawyer. You need one if you don't want to be walking for 90 days or more. And it's going to cost a lot more than $180.00 for 28 over! More like $300.00, and that's if they don't charge you with dangerous driving. DD will hit you $500.00 - $1,000.00.

Not a good start for your driving record. Maybe you need to have it suspended till you can drive safely within the law. Tough, but realistic. It's about safety--of yourself and others.
