I would find something else, definately with lesser miles. I had a newer pickup that got totalled but because of the high mileage on it, the insurance company paid me almost 2500 less than the bluebook on it because of mileage. And the ford focus is not known for its stamina either. Plus, if you get something with say 50K miles, you can always buy a warranty to protect you up to 100K miles.

Lot of miles, even for Focus, that is a reliable car since the 02 model. When I am interested in a car with high miles, I don't care if it is a Civic, Corolla or Focus, it has to be cheap. Get it checked by your mechanic.

Seriously, it's a Ford. You don't want to buy a Ford with that kind of mileage on it.

my girlfriend has a focus and i wouldn't recommend you have to turn the ac off when you accelerate on the highway plus she said she's taken it in at least once a year averaging 200 to 300 per time and it doesn't handle well in the snow

That car has just about had it or being close to it. Find something with low mileage at least you wouldn't have to work on it everyday.

if its been well cared for, regular service and maintenance and not driven into the ground, the mileage shouldn't matter. i got a '97 nissan pu with 132000 miles and its great.
