Not a Corolla. That's a 5 passenger vehicle. Seating capacity is defined by the number of seatbelts -- one occupant per belt.
OK, just to get very picky here since you asked if they could SIT in the vehicle. They may SIT in the vehicle as long as the vehicle is not being operated on the public roads. Six people may not legally RIDE in a 5 passenger vehicle.

This is up to the seatbelt laws in your state. Each state has differences. In my state, for instance, the answer is yes, since the children must be secured by seatbelts in the back but not the adults -- so if the adults wanted to squish together in 1 spot, no problem.

You can only have as many passengers as you have seat belts. If you have 5 seatbelts, then you can carry 5 passengers.

By LAW......each person needs a seat belt and children of a certain age and weight need to be in a car seat.
