The younger generation or Internet generation have no idea what face time is. If you don't learn early in your life how to look someone in the face it only gets harder to do when you are older and have to look at someone to communicate. There are chemical exchanges in your body when people met in person and it can be uncomfortable if you are no use to it.

With some people it's easier to hide behind a screen and a keyboard. As for me, I'm just as much of a smart *** in real life as I am here. Just ask all two of my friends lol

I agree with you completely. Communication is a lost art. I think people feel safe behind their keyboards. Rejection and judgement is lessened. Too bad people can't talk amoungst each other. It would solve a lot of problems in this world. Best of luck & thanks for a good question.

I know what you mean! I feel like I've made so many friends just through Yahoo Answers, but they all disappear when I turn off my computer. It makes me sad.

i think its because there's no face to face interaction, when the person isn't in front of you its much easier to say what you want and not worry about how the other person is going to respond or react

oh man that's why i hate people. I am not afraid to say anything to your face. And when people text me or call me to tell me something and dont talk about it in person, ugh that gets me so mad!
