For me, my nipples are very light in color, the hurt the whole pregnancy. Then the hurt while I was breastfeeding and then the hurt when I wanted to stop breastfeeding. Now they hurt during every ovulation cycle and menstrual cycle.

I know mine hurt the entire pregnancy. What I used to do was put some sort of pad on them. Cold weather especially made them sore. Good luck to you and your new baby. Drink lots of water too.
