Romans 3:23
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
1 Corinthians 6:10
Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
Then you have the 10 Commandments,
God does see the sin, in name, but when you say forgive me for I have sinned, he treats them the same, Jesus died for all sin's, all.
So all sin get thrown into a sea of forgetfulness, never rememberd again. All sin, because of the blood, have no power to keep us out of heaven. We are blameless.
Romans 8
1There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
3For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
Acts 26:18
To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.
Acts 26:17-19 (in Context) Acts 26 (Whole Chapter)
Romans 4:7
Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.
1 John 3:5
And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
So the truth is, once you say God forgive me,, he sees nothing but his Sons Blood on us,
Have you ever spillt red ink on black words on white paper?
All you can see is red, the black is all gone,
Thats kinda the idea of what the blood does to our sin.
God said, No Sin will come into his Kingdom. So that is why peopel say it doesnt matter, sin is sin.
It wont get into the kingdom, the only way to get to heaven, is to have the Blood of Jesus all over them, so God can not see them. The only thing he see's is his son,
You ever wonder why wild animals kill the other babies that try to take the milk from a mother that is not there mother, they smell it. if it doesnt have there smell of them licking on them to clean them from birth, they kill it, there sent, is not there, so they kill it. Well God is the same way, He knows what his children smell like, if you dont smell like fresh blood from his sons death giving you the birth right to heaven, and God licking you clean, daily you wont make it. To God, sin is sin, and all of it has to be hidden in blood.

A sin is a sin to God. It is the human race that has put a value on what a sin costs.....25 years murder, 12 years for robbery. The confusion is not in the bible it is in the justice system.

This is why it is said that God doesn't see degrees of sin:
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23)
"Nor can the free gift be compared to what came through the man who sinned. For the sentence that followed one man's offense brought condemnation, but the free gift brought justification, even after many offenses." (Romans 5:16)
As you can see, it does not matter to God what sin is committed. All sinners must pay a penalty (death) for offending a holy God. Unless someone else has paid that debt, the sinner is required to pay it. Everyone who is descended from Adam carries the corrupt, sinful nature. Therefore, we sin because we are sinners.
Jesus however, did pay the penalty. But unless you accept that gift, you are still under the obligation to pay.

Sin is anything that falls short of God's perfection. So a miss is as good as a mile. Now the Bible does say there is a sin unto death, but that is probably the sin of rejecting Jesus. It's not a matter of how many sins you've done compared to what you've done good, one sin or 1000 sins ,all can be forgivin if you are sincere.

All sins are equal b/c sin is the act of not doing what God wants or to break the law of God. It doesn't matter which one was broke the point is it was broken.

Obviously not all sins are equal. God would have to be insane to treat a petty shoplifter and a mass murderer the same. The Bible, and the Catholic Church which compiled it, both make this very clear.
The Church refers to particularly serious sin as "mortal sin". "Mortal" here means "leading to death", as in "a mortal wound". The Church refers to less heinous sin as "venial sin", which means "easily forgiven".
Now let's see what the Holy Bible says about it ...
"If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it. All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death." (1 John 5:16-17)
John plainly states that there are sins which lead to death (mortal sins), and that there are sins which do NOT lead to death. So, clearly these two types of sin are not "equal" in God's eyes. John then says that sins which are not mortal (deadly) can be forgiven by a simple prayer. Such sins are therefore easily forgiven (venial). John also implies that sins which are mortal are not so easily forgiven. Something more is required than a simple prayer. That "something" of course is sacramental confession, which John Himself had been empowered to minister, when Christ breathed upon him and said "whose sins YOU forgive, they are forgiven them".
Another indication that sins are not all equal can be found in John 19:11, Jesus's words to Pilate ... "Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin." How could Jesus say that someone had "the greater sin" if God sees all sin as equal??

Any sin is a serious offense against the dignity of God, but since Jesus is our judge in these matters, it would seem logical that he's going to do more than determine simple guilt or innocence.
Not only are some sins more serious than others, the consequences of some sins are more serious than others.
This is just common sense.

In Matthew 5:21-28, Jesus equates committing adultery with having lust in your heart, and committing murder with having hatred in your heart.
Each and every sin will lead to eternal condemnation (Romans 6:23)

in the eyes of guy all sin isn't equivalent. it quite is comprehensible because as Scheisse reported, if no longer we would want to punish a mass assassin a similar as we would want to a petty thief who stole a sweet bar. it quite is carefully unacceptable in the eyes of guy. If gaining heaven is the purpose it quite is a diverse degree as God says NO sin can enter heaven. God does no longer choose as we do, He both sees all sins forgiven or no sins forgiven. the full challenge is black and white without gray section in any respect. therefore that's accessible that the mass assassin might want to truly repent and earnings the front to heaven even as the petty thief it quite is non repentant would not. it quite is a confusing theory for some human beings yet God isn't prepared for any to perish. He has given a plan of salvation that each and every you would possibly want to maintain on with in the journey that they favor to. the challenge is that's so effortless it type of feels stupid to many. in the journey that they pick to ignore it or attempt to guage God through puny human understand-how and therefore locate Him wanting of their eyes, turn their again on God and favor no component to Him, Their sins aren't any further coated and they could't enter heaven. they may be the nicest human beings on earth yet NO un-forgiven sin enters heaven.

I think this is a misunderstanding according to Bible inaccuracies and flaws. There is no way that the sin of stealing a piece of bubble gum equals rape or murder. You have to use some God given common sense and realize that people have the wrong concept about sin.
