I could not live anywhere else. I am presently visiting Ohio and feel a little claustrophobic due to all the people everywhere. Most people I talk to down here do not have a clue on what wilderness really is. What we do back home on a daily basis is considered a event of a lifetime down here. I hope Alaska never becomes as screwed up as it is down here.

I have always wanted to live in Alaska, even though I have never been there. Only saw it on TV.

I have visited(worked there for a few months) and yes think I would live there although the cold would be a big adjustment for me. I would be working outdoors as I am a wildlife biologist, so that is why the weather would be an issue for me. It is a great state..I love it for it's wildlife and open spaces..it really is the last great frontier!!
