If you have the experience, the interview will be relatively cut and dried...they'll explain the Company background, what is expected within the position, what training is available, what the regular routine of other employees is. You could possibly meet some of the key employees, perhaps be given a tour of the entire operation.
You could be asked what you know about SB's right at the beginning of the interview so bone up on their history...their policies, their procedures...anything you can gleen http://www.starbucks.com/default.asp?cookie%5Ftest=1
Just be natural, give short concise answers, make eye contact, no excessive hand gestures. Ask questions, show interest in everything regardless that you may already know more than the interviewer :)
Don't be nervous, be natural...yourself. Show what you know and be confident in the fact that you have 5 years of experience in this line of business...you have much to contribute so let the interviewer know this...
Be able to give a concrete answer to the question "If we hire you when would you be available to start?" and any questions pertaining to your methods of managing, again, try to dig through the SB site and uncover some of their practices, this puts you in the know...something they will definitely be looking for.
All the best, here's hoping you get the position.

Make it quick. Interviewers tend to hate conducting interviews nearly as much as the applicant hates sitting through them. Don't get sidetracked and start rambling about nothing. Try to stay on point, especially if you're interviewing with a male. Men tend to like hearing about what you're going to do to help the company. Don't be afraid to state plainly what you've accomplished up to this point, but also show him that you're a "forward-thinker" (nice interview buzzword). Believe me, I've conducted a few interviews, and THEY'RE nervous too. Everybody has a boss, and if this guy hires a dud, then he has to listen to a bunch of crap from HIS boss, something to the effect of, "Why didn't you catch that in the interview?" And relax. If you look scared or nervous, they're not going to be comfortable hiring you. Good luck!!!!!!!

I don't work in food-service, but I do regularly conduct professional interviews.
I would expect a lot of questions about your work history, and likely a lot of situational questions. Many companies will interview using the "STAR" technique. They will ask you about a situation you may have been in, or a task you've had to complete, they'll ask what action you took in that situation, and what the resolution/outcome was.
An example for your business might be...
"Tell me about a time you ran out of a particular type of popular coffee. What did you do, and what was the outcome?"
or
"Tell me about a time you've had to discipline an employee for not being punctual. What did you do, and what was the outcome?"
Expect to answer questions related to your leadership experience. They will want to know what experience you have training, coaching and developing employees. They'll want to know what you look for when hiring employees, and how comfortable you are disciplining/terminating employees.
The toughest question of all, might be: "What would you bring to our company? / Why should we hire you?"

Good luck! :)

If you have five years experience running a coffee shop, then simply make the interviewer a kick a$$ latte and you're hired.
I would hardly classify this as a "semi-professional" interview though.

EXPECT ANYTHING and EVERYTHING; the interview can include-testing questions about technical knowledge, certain personal questions, situational questions, general questions about your philosophy of care, your ambitions/career goals, annoying general questions, your biggest weakness/strong points and greatest achievement. The goal is to see how well and how succinctly you express yourself and what kind of insight you have into your personality...hope might HELP in preparation for the interview. GOODLUCK!

Questions that they think you can't answer at all, I got this from a book. Expect questions from everything under the sun. If you go for memorizing an answer to a question you think that will be asked, don't. Also, don't claim to read books that you did not at all. I know you can do it.

the biggest question... why you? what makes you stand apart? what experiences have developed your management skills? right down a list of your strengths (and how you got there), and weaknesses (and how you're working on them). and of course, dress profession, be early to the interview and be excited to be there. either way it turns out, don't under-prepare for an important interview! good luck!
